On September 2nd, 2025, at Bin Jelmood House, Msheireb Museums in Doha, the exhibition MARMO | MARBLE. H.E. Paolo Toschi, Ambassador of Italy to Qatar, and Mr. Abdulla Al Naama, General Manager of Msheireb Museums, inaugurated CARVING THE FUTURE.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until October 8 during regular museum hours (9:00–17:00 daily, Fridays 15:00–21:00, closed on Sundays).
This innovative and transmedia exhibition format is promoted and organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with Confindustria Marmomacchine and the Italian Trade Agency, with the artistic and creative direction of Magister Art. Part of a global touring initiative, the project is included in the strategy for the promotion of Italian excellence abroad.
This exhibition highlights the importance of Italy’s marble industry, celebrating centuries of knowledge, craftsmanship and tradition, while emphasizing research, innovation, and advanced technologies. Through an immersive journey, the exhibition aims at showcasing the strength, technique, and beauty of marble, combining Italy’s artistic mastery with its entrepreneurial vision.
The exhibition takes place at the same time of the international stone industry fair Marmomac, organized and hosted in Verona from the 23rd to the 26th of September 2025.
